Mercy Care for the Adirondacks, Inc.
Biography
Mercy Care provides friendship and companionship to elders, serves as an advocate for individual aging persons to obtain the services they need, helps elders stay connected to their community, and works to enhance the quality of life of older adults living in their own homes or other independent living communities in the Tri-lakes region of the Adirondacks.
Mercy Cares, Mercy Medical (Daphne, AL)
Biography
Mercy Cares is a Mercy Medical program offering home care and support to homebound seniors at no cost. In keeping with our mission of assuring that the most needy are provided with care, this program grew from the realization that many seniors who have exhausted Medicare benefits and who have fixed incomes cannot afford ongoing home care. This program, supported by grants and individual gifts, offers a safety net of support for these individuals assuring that they can remain in their homes more safely while assuring that each patient receives ongoing assessment and care.

The Mercy Center on Aging, a multipurpose senior center, provides a focal point where older persons can come together for a variety of activities, services and programs. At the Mercy Center on Aging, the older person is encouraged to remain independent, supported in life situations and stimulated to contribute within the Erie community.

Mercy Home for Boys & Girls
Biography
Mercy Home for Boys & Girls has served kids in crisis in Chicago since 1887. From our humble beginnings as a shelter for homeless boys, Mercy Home has developed into a holistic home that addresses not only the basic needs of our young men and women, but also their therapeutic, behavioral, and academic needs. At our Boys Campus in the West Loop and our Walsh Girls Campus in Beverly, we provide overarching support to help our young people heal and grow in all aspects of their lives.
Our mission is to save young lives by providing: a safe, nurturing residential treatment home, Community Care support for former residents and their families, community-based and site-based youth mentoring; promoting therapeutic, educational, vocational, spiritual and life skill development; and raising public awareness of youth in need.

Its mission is to provide a range of specialty medical, residential and supportive services to people who need rehabilitation or other restorative medical services, are frail or suffering from chronic illness, are dying, or need supportive senior housing so they can achieve and sustain their maximum potential for independence and quality of life. Pediatric Home Care is designed to reach out to low-income families in need of hospice or oncology services.

As the Sisters of Mercy before us, we bring to life the healing ministry of Jesus through our compassionate care and exceptional service. Mercy Clinic provides primary healthcare services to the neediest residents of Webb County. Mercy’s focus is on prevention and control of chronic illness through education and patient compliance. Patients are coached to become advocates of their own health. Mercy is not a free clinic. Patients make co-pays for their services based on the outcome of their financial screening.

The Ministry of Caring Inc. is committed to serving the ongoing needs of the poor: food for the hungry, shelter, transitional, long-term and permanent housing for the homeless, a residence for youth exiting the juvenile justice system, jobs for the unemployed, clothing and furniture for the needy, child care, a residence for homeless men and women with AIDS, medical and dental services for the poor, and advocacy as well as outreach for the disenfranchised.
It is our belief that the poor should never be served poorly, but with love, dignity and respect. Mission of Mercy
Biography
Founded in 1994, Mission of Mercy is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization whose mission is to restore dignity to the sick, poor, and homeless by providing free healthcare. This mission is accomplished through a mobile program that utilizes active and retired licensed volunteer medical professionals to provide free medical care, free dental care and free prescription medications to those who have no health insurance or limited access to healthcare. There are no income requirements. Mission of Mercy operates 6 clinic locations in Maryland and Pennsylvania. All healthcare services are provided free of charge regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, or faith.
