We, the Missionary Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, participate in the prophetic mission of the Church. We strive to be women of harmony through contemplative prayer, daily conversion, simplicity, and poverty. In ministry, as we serve needy and marginalized peoples, we strive to share our heritage by forming leaders in the Franciscan spirit and the charisma of our Foundress, Elizabeth Hayes.

We, the Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, are called to be the Heart of God
on earth. In fidelity to our charism as expressed by our founders, we witness to God’s love

With one heart and one mission, we commit ourselves to respond in creative ways to the

We give the Word of God a voice in pulpits and print, on radio and television, on the Web and the wide screen. We search out those who have no chuch home, and welcome those whao have been away. We share the passion of St. Paul for unity in faith and solidarity in mission among all the baptized in the body of Christ. We build bridges of respect and collaboration with people of other world religions. We welcome people of diverse racial and cultural backgrounds in our parish, city center and campus worshipping communities. The Gospel we preach calls for all the children of God to be treated with dignity and justice. We claim Isaac Hecker as our founder, the Holy Spirit as our primary guide, St. Paul as our patron and laity as our valued partners in mission. We are Pailists. Missionaries to North America.

Biography
Sisters serve in Education; Parish Ministry; Health Care; Retreat Ministry; Social Work; Counseling; St. Gertrude’s Museum, Spirit Center Retreat House. Represented in the Archdioceses of Los Angeles and Seattle and in the Dioceses of Boise and Spokane.
Monastic Interreligious Dialogue (Beech Grove, IN)
Biography
The mission of the Monastic Interreligious Dialogue is to encourage the participation of North American Christian monastics in conversations, encounters, and mutual exchange between monastics of different religions. MID sponsors conferences, and seminars on East-West dialogue and monastic spirituality. Intermonastic exchange includes Buddhists of Tibetan, Therarada and Zen, as well as, Hindu and Islam traditions.
Mother Seton Academy (Baltimore, MD)

Empowered by Gospel values and rooted in the tradition of Elizabeth Ann Seton, Mother Seton Academy, a middle school in East Baltimore, seeks to educate inner-city young men and women in a multicultural environment that promotes the dignity of and respect for each person and all of creation. Students are challenged to reach their potential academically, spiritually, and socially so that they may become responsible, caring, and active leaders in their families, communities, and society.

Mt. Alvernia Day Care and Learning Center is operated by the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities. Mt. Alvernia’s mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children by providing developmentally appropriate programs.
Mount Aviat Academy, Inc
Biography
Mount Aviat Academy is a Catholic elementary school in the Diocese of Wilmington, which welcomes students from preschool through eighth grade. Under the direction of the Oblate Sisters of St. Francis de Sales, the school is staffed by a faculty of religious and lay teachers who strive to live out the school’s Mission daily:
– to provide instruction in the message of Christ, according to the teachings of the Catholic Church, within the context of the gentle and caring spirit of St. Francis de Sales

Mount Carmel House (Washington, DC)
Biography
Mount Carmel House is a nonprofit transitional shelter for homeless women. It provides homeless women with hope, that in a caring enviornment of mutual respect, they may regain their self-esteem and work toward personal and economic independence. The program respects the dignity of each woman in its understanding of the complexity of the problems she faces. Mount Carmel is dedicated to helping women create pathways to personal stability, employment, and decent permanent housing. We are a place of refuse in which each woman can effect positive change in an atmosphere of support and peace.
Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA)
Biography
Mount de Sales Academy is the only Catholic high school in the Macon, Georgia area. Its purpose is to provide a Catholic education for those Catholics who attend and a strong Christian education for those of other faiths. Lower income families are assisted with financial aid as they are able to provide. They declare that their mission is to facilitate learning for all students in an integrated ministry that embraces five dimensions: proclamation of the Good News, fellowship in the Holy Spirit, celebration in community worship, service to the community, and the pursuit of knowledge.
Mount Merici School (Waterville, ME)
Biography
Established in 1911 by the Ursuline Sisters, Mount Merici School is a private Catholic, co-educational school offering a pre-kindergarten program, a full-day kindergarten, and grades one through six. The school’s mission is to promote positive peer influences and offer spiritual, academic, and social opportunities for each student. Mount Merici students participate in an academic curriculum in an enriching, values-oriented atmosphere, while guided by loving discipline.
