Karen is a Legacy Giving Officer for EWTN and has more than 15 years of professional fundraising experience for non-profit organizations and in higher education. She currently works with donors in the South and Midwest as they explore comprehensive estate planning strategies to achieve their charitable goals. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from American University. Her professional credentials include a Fellow in Charitable Estate Planning and Certified Fund Raising Executive designation. Prior board service includes The Salvation Army of the Coastal Bend, Arthritis Foundation (Nebraska), Youth Emergency Services (Omaha, NE), and she is a past president of the AFP Coastal Bend Chapter.

Karen lives in Corpus Christi, Texas with her husband Noe, three children, and two dogs. She is a member of St. Andrew by the Sea parish.
