Biography
Saint Joseph Family Medical Center is a non-resident counseling center sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia. Our mission is to foster the development of the whole person, to promote growth within the family and to help create healthy community. In the Franciscan tradition, the Saint Joseph Family Medical Center assists individuals, couples, and families to develop to the fullness of their potential and continue a long tradition of hospitality in Spokane by welcoming all and by providing an atmosphere of acceptance and belonging. It is believed that each person is God’s special handiwork; each person has a right to be fully alive; each person is capable of growth. The service at Saint Joseph’s is mutual: the staff shares with and receives from all who come there. Together they build the human community in and through the compassionate Christ.
