Durham Nativity School (Durham, NC)
Biography
The mission of Durham Nativity School (DNS) is based on the highly successful model of other Nativity network schools (www.nativitynetwork.org) across the country û to help break the cycle of poverty through a quality middle school education that will help empower each child to reach their potential. DNS is committed to providing an academically rigorous academic program to
socio-economically and disadvantaged boys who might not otherwise have access to such quality education.
The school provides the boys with emotional, social, moral and intellectual support through small classes and an extended school day and school year. Our faculty works to help our students become young men ready for the rigors of college preparatory high schools and, eventually, colleges.
