Augustinian Province of St. Thomas of Villanova
Biography
We Augustinians, inspired by the religious insight and teaching of St. Augustine, and established as a Mendicant Order in the 13th century, seek to live out our Christian vocation of love for God and neighbor in the fashion of Augustine, in communion of life and service to the Church. To seek God together is our common project. To share our discovery is our mission. Thus, we have always been, and see ourselves still, as active contemplatives in the Church, called to impart to others the gifts we have received.
