Mike has dedicated himself to serving the Church and his community. His service began as a teen member of his local parish while in high school and then continued as a member of the Raskob Foundation for Catholic Activities, Inc. He continues his involvement with this Foundation and had previously served on the Board and is a past Corporate Secretary. Over the past 20 years he has served as a Trustee of the John B. Lynch Scholarship Foundation and Trust in Wilmington, Delaware and most recently was elected to the Board of the Bill Raskob Foundation where he serves as an Assistant Treasurer.
Professionally, Mike is a Certified Public Accountant and presently is a Tax Senior Manager with an Ohio regional public accounting firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio with two other Ohio offices. Other than individual clients, his practice concentrates on not-for-profit clients and clients in the health care field, including nursing homes. Mike has also had experience working in industry for a variety of public and private organizations. He began his professional career as a commercial and agricultural lending officer with banks in both Arizona and Missouri. He holds a Masters degree in Accounting from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. He lives in Grand River, Ohio with his wife Jan and three children.
