Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington
Biography
Catholic Charities’ mission is to serve the most vulnerable residents in the 21 counties and 7 cities that comprise the Diocese of Arlington, an area bracketed by Leesburg and Winchester to the north, Front Royal to the west, and Fredericksburg and Stafford to the south. Catholic Charities extends its services to all in need, regardless of race, nationality, or religion. Catholic Charities seeks to implement social justice in ways that strengthen individuals, families, and communities. CCDA programs include family counseling; immigrant services; shelter, food and clothing for the homeless; senior center, crisis pregnancy counseling and adoption services; prison ministry; car donations to the needy and financial assistance to those facing eviction or the termination of vital utilities including water, electricity and natural gas services.
