Cappella Oratoriana (Brooklyn, NY)
Biography
Cappella Oratoriana, based at the Brooklyn Oratory of St. Philip Neri, is an ensemble of singers specializing in the performance of the important but neglected body of music associated with the Oratories in the 16th and 17th centuries. Its repertory includes sacred music that led to the development of the early oratorio, and Cappella Oratoriana is committed to providing public performances of sacred music to audiences in New York City as well as other locations.
