The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty is a non-profit, public interest, legal and educational institute dedicated to protecting the free expression of all religious traditions, and the equal participation of the religious in public life and public benefits. We implement this mission in the courts of law, in the court of public opinion, and in the academy. Birthright believes that it is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth and the right of every baby to be born. Birthright provides non-judgmental support to girls and women who are distressed by unplanned
pregnancies giving them an alternative to abortion. Using our own resources and those of the community, Birthright offers friendship and emotional support; free pregnancy tests; legal, medical and educational assistance, referrals to social agencies, adoption agencies, and practical needs such as formula, diapers, and clothes. We also deliver layettes to moms and their babies directly to the hospital.
